State tobacco-related legislative bills that have been acted on by a state legislative committee or state legislature are listed below alphabetically by state:

Michigan: On Tuesday, November 20, 2020, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services will hold an online public hearing regarding a proposed rule banning the sale of all flavored vapor products.

Virginia: House Bill 5005a (budget bill), which imposes a tax on any heated tobacco product at 2.25 cents per stick and requires distributors of tobacco products to register with the Commonwealth, which passed the Senate with amendments, was rejected in the House and was sent to conference committee on October 14, 2020.
