State tobacco-related legislative bills that have been introduced in the past week are listed below alphabetically by state:

Michigan: House Bill 5019 prohibits the promulgation of rules banning the sale, manufacturing, or use of certain vapor products.

New Hampshire: LSR2613 related to the tax on cigarettes. LSR 2660 establishes a moratorium on the sale of e-cigarettes.

New York: Senate Bill 6743 provides that each electronic cigarette or vapor product manufacturer shall submit a list of all ingredients added by the manufacturer to a vapor product; a description of the content, delivery and form of nicotine; and a list of all constituents identified by the department as harmful by brand and by quantity; defines “vapor product”; requires a list of ingredients of such electronic cigarette or vapor product be on the packaging.
